Dr. Alicia Pownall, DVM
Dr. Pownall graduated Magna cum Laude from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and will lead the team at our new clinic. Dr. Pownall comes with valuable experience in a high-volume, high-quality spay and neuter clinic, and is enthusiastic to begin working to make a difference in our local community. She is Fear-Free Certified, and spent time traveling to rural Washington to the Native American Reserves setting up mobile clinics for wellness exams, vaccinations, and spay/neuter at no cost to the low-income area.
Michelle Riley, Vet Tech
Michelle has been in the Veterinary profession for 20 years, working in a small-animal, general practice as a veterinary assistant and receptionist. Over the course of Michelle’s career, she has worn many hats and gained experience being in a supervisory role as well as the clinic office manager. She is very excited to be working with the Humane Society of Warren County and further serve the community through the work of the HSWC Spay Clinic.
Stephanie Chaboudy, Tech Assistant
Stephanie joined the clinic team earlier this year and we are happy to have her on board. She comes to us with great experience in the veterinary field, as well as shelter medicine. She has previously worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist. It was clear from the start that Stephanie keeps things very organized and tidy (which we can all appreciate). She is pictured here with her sweet, spoiled, senior girl Winnie.
Kat Turley, Receptionist
Kat comes to us with years of experience working in vet med. She most recently worked as a vet assistant and receptionist at a clinic in Warrenton. Her previous employer describes Kat as being calm under pressure and wonderful with the patients and customers alike. She is fitting right in with the clinic crew and we are happy to have her join the HSWC. She is pictured here with her family.
